Game of Thrones Promotional Kit
Fuseideas concepted and developed a premium gift, to be delivered to HBO’s affiliates in a two-pronged teaser program. First, the affiliates received a stylized letter on parchment paper, sealed with an HBO wax seal that directed them to a microsite we built, which delivered more information and assets related to the show. For the second phase, the premium gift box arrived shortly before the first episode premiered.

“Awkward Family Viewing” campaign
Despite only 48 people at this New York based agency, SS+K won five Cannes Gold Lion Awards and earned new business from 5 clients in 2014. In addition to being known as the agency that helped elect and re-elect President Obama, SS+K won the Digital Campaign of the Year at the 2015 Ad Age Small Agency Awards for their “Awkward Family Viewing” campaign for HBO GO. Garnering 5 million views over two days, the campaign was lauded by the HBO client, who said, “It’s the first time our ads are as good as our programming.”

Charm City Kings
In May 2020, HBO launched their subscription streaming service, HBO Max, featuring its classic programming, as well as exclusive original content. Amassing over 28 million subscribers by September 2020, the media titan released its first movie exclusive to the platform, Charm City Kings (featuring rapper Meek Mill), in October of the same year.

Our Entertainment team created this special promo teasing season two for HBO's Emmy award-winning show Silicon Valley. Rather than tease the plot, we focused on reintroducing the geeky gang through a humorous juxtaposition. With Danny Brown's "Smokin & Drinkin" setting the beat, we see the guys back at work on their startup, pounding energy drinks, popping cheeseballs, and dropping plenty of NSFW words as they code. Hardcore.
